Puerto Rico is a US territory: the currency is the US dollar, credit reports are the same ones used on the mainland, and a US driver's license is valid here. What changes is who lends the money.
Auto loans are written by local banks and credit unions — Banco Popular, FirstBank and Oriental among them. Ford Credit does not operate in Puerto Rico, so a Ford is financed through the same local banks as any other brand.
Because we do not mark up the bank's rate, the rate you are quoted is the rate the bank gives. We structure the deal around the monthly payment you can carry, and your trade-in goes straight to the down payment.
